Former Jharkhand CM Champai Soren arrives in Delhi with five MLAs, joins BJP

RANCHI: BEFORE THE ASSEMBLY ELECTIONS IN JHARKHAND, A BIG POLITICAL GAME HAS TAKEN PLACE. Former CM Champai Soren has reached Delhi along with five other MLAs of the party, giving a big blow to Chief Minister Hemant Soren. Champai Soren will join the BJP along with all the MLAs at 3 pm. All the MLAs along with Champai Soren have reached Delhi via Kolkata.

According to the information, former CM Champai Soren has reached Delhi via Kolkata along with five JMM MLAs. Champai Soren along with Dashrath Gagrai, Ramdas Soren, Chamra Linda, Lobin Hembram and Sameer Mohanty have reached Delhi and are expected to join the BJP at 3 pm at the BJP headquarters. All MLAs, including Champai Solen, could not be contacted.

Hemant Soren was arrested by the ED in a money laundering case in an alleged land scam in Jharkhand. Hemant Soren reached Raj Bhavan before going to jail and submitted his resignation to the governor. Champai Soren replaced Hemant Soren as the CM of Jharkhand. Champai Soren was just sitting on the chair after becoming the Chief Minister that after a few days, Hemant Soren was released from jail and Champai Soren had to leave the CM’s chair.

As soon as he was released from jail, Hemant Soren removed Champai Soren from the Chief Minister’s chair and took the reins of power back in his hands. At that time, Champai Soren’s displeasure was revealed. Meanwhile, the BJP made Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma in-charge of Jharkhand before the assembly elections and finally Kar Sarma broke into Hemant Soren’s party and took 6 MLAs including Champai Soren into his camp.
