Nitish’s big bet in Jharkhand before assembly elections: Veteran leader Saryu Rai joins JDU; Speculations were being made after meeting CM

RANCHI/PATNA: THE BIG NEWS OF THIS TIME IS COMING OUT OF THE POLITICS OF JHARKHAND. Veteran leader Saryu Rai, who has a great understanding of Jharkhand politics, has finally joined JDU. JDU working president Sanjay Jha gave Saryu Rai the membership of the party. It is believed that CM Nitish has played a big bet in Jharkhand by joining Saryu Rai in his party before the assembly elections.

Actually, JDU has been trying for a long time to get the status of a national party, although it was not getting success in it. After Lalan Singh stepped down as national president, Chief Minister Nitish Kumar took over the command of the party and along with the post of Chief Minister, he is engaged in the exercise of taking the party to new heights as the national president of JDU.

After emerging as the elder brother of JDU in Bihar in the Lok Sabha elections, the party’s national president Nitish Kumar has decided to contest the upcoming Jharkhand assembly elections. Nitish is busy strengthening the organization in Jharkhand. Recently, the Chief Minister held a meeting with JDU President Khiru Mahto and other party leaders in Jharkhand.

Earlier, veteran leader Saryu Rai, who has a big political understanding in Jharkhand, met Chief Minister Nitish Kumar. Since this political meeting, it was being speculated that Saryu Rai may soon join JDU. This is the same Saryu Rai who had dusted the then Chief Minister Raghubar Das of BJP quota of Jharkhand during the assembly elections.

Before the assembly elections, Nitish Kumar has played a big bet by joining Jharkhand’s strong leader Saryu Rai in his party JDU. On Sunday, JDU working president Sanjay Kumar Jhane welcomed Saryu Rai into the party. Saryu Rai joined the JD(U) in the presence of Ashok Chaudhary, Bihar minister Shravan Kumar and Jharkhand JD(U) state president Khiru Mahto.

Let us know that in the assembly elections to be held in Jharkhand this year, JDU is making a strategy to enter the field with full strength. On July 27, the Chief Minister held a meeting with other party leaders, including Jharkhand JD(U) state president Khiru Mahto, in Patna. After the meeting, Khiru Mahto had said that although JDU is preparing for elections on all seats of Jharkhand, the party will contest elections in alliance with BJP in Jharkhand too. He had said that the party’s working president Sanjay Jha is holding talks with top BJP leaders regarding seat-sharing.
